Siraisi Delivers Haskins Lecture
Since 1983 the highlight of the American Council of Learned Societies annual meetings has been the Charles Homer Haskins Prize Lecture, presented by an especially distinguished scholar nominated by one of the constituent societies, who is asked to address “A Life of Learning.”

Lone Star Historians of Science

It is no news that scholars at major universities have better access to research materials than do their colleagues elsewhere. But lately, there has been growing concern that the imbalance is getting worse because of the way that digitized collections are being made available.
