GORDON RESEARCH CONFERENCE ON S&T POLICY. The full program is now posted for the 7th Gordon Research Conference on Science and Technology Policy, which will take place August 5-10, 2012, on the theme “S&T Policy in Global Context.” Speakers from around the world will explore the meaning of national S&T policies in a globalizing world. Sheila Jasanoff (USA) and Raphael Kaplinsky (UK) will make keynote presentations.

All participants are encouraged to present their own work or their organization’s in the poster sessions. The registration fee includes all room and board, and buses are available from the Boston airport to the conference site.

For details, see the conference listing on the GRC web site (http://www.grc.org/programs.aspx?year=2012&program=scipolicy). [Note that a student-led, early career Gordon Research Seminar will take place the two days ahead of the main GRC at the same site on a related theme. A limited number of half price registration subsidies for the GRS are available from the GRS organizers (contact Logan Williams, WILLIL8@RPI.EDU).]
