Purpose

To bring together historians of science from around Texas for an informal meeting each spring.

Membership and Meeting Information
Membership is open. Free. 25 members. Meets annually with the primary meeting in March-May.

Description

The Lone Star group was founded in 1988. Our constitution provides that there shall be "no officers, no by-laws, and no dues," and we remain resolutely informal. We meet in a different Texas city each spring and, after listening to a talk by an invited speaker, enjoy a convivial dinner together. Founded in 1988.
