The Society: Special Interest Groups and Caucuses within HSS
Society members have formed several Interest Groups dedicated to promoting study of particular aspects of the history of science. These groups are formally recognized and encouraged by the Society, and often organize sessions or special activities during the Society's annual meeting each November. Others sponsor prizes for excellent articles or dissertations on specific fields.
